Join Me and Support St. Jude with Lancome #LancomeGivesBack

Last week I stopped by Lancome at Dillards in the Houston Galleria mall to support St. Jude Children’s Research hospital and Genefique Day. I had the pleasure of meeting with and getting my make-up done by the beautiful and bubbly Mickey Williams, celebrity MUA, who is on tour with Lamcome and St. Jude for this special event. Mickey applied my face with Genefique face serum & eye serum and shared her positive experience in partnering with St. Jude and Lancome. While giving me a fresh faced look with dramatic vintage eyes she told me about her visit to St. Judes Research center, how touched she was by the children, how full of hope they are being there, meanwhile parents are housed close by and all expenses are covered so the family can focus on being with their child and supporting them. Then we hit the Photo Booth and made a hand heart together for the #lancomegivesback campaign.

How you can join me in supporting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital:

1. Post a pic on instagram or  twitter and hastag #LancomeGivesBack. 1$ for each pic with hashtag will be donated. Encourage your friends to do the same!

2. Buy any bottle of Genefique now through Oct 25th and 7$ from that purchase will be donated. 1 bottle = $7

3. Donate directly.

Why St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is a worthy cause:

-Families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing and food – because all a family should worry about is helping their child live.
-Treatments invented at St. Jude have helped push the overall childhood cancer survival rate from 20 percent to more than 80 percent since it opened in 1962.
-St. Jude is working to drive the overall survival rate for childhood cancer to 90 percent in the next decade. We won’t stop until no child dies from cancer.
-St. Jude freely shares the breakthroughs we make, and every child saved at St. Jude means doctors and scientists worldwide can use that knowledge to save thousands more children.
-Because the majority of St. Jude funding comes from individual contributors, St. Jude has the freedom to focus on what matters most – saving kids regardless of their financial situation.
-St. Jude was founded by the late entertainer Danny Thomas, who believed that “No child should die in the dawn of life.”
