After a week/end of music festivals, discovering amazing new [to me] artists and assisting a cover shoot for HM Magazine, I’m playing major catch up with everything in life!

So..my friend Madeline joined me on a whirlwind trip to SXSW and South By So What. My main take away from the week is that Dead Sara is my new favorite girl fronted band. We caught them live twice [purposefully] and were just blown away my the unapologetic talent and energy Emily Armstrong and Siouxsie bring. Check them out.

On to this psychedelic pink glittery number from Top Vintage. I feel it totally channels the songstress vibe I’m been dreaming of these post- festival days. Even though the majority of artists we heard range from rock to metal, I’m more of a pop/jazz/ indie/dance girl myself [mainly because I love dancing].

This amazing pink sequin dress stands on it’s own. Extra accessories would be overwhelming for me in this look, especially with it being long-sleeved. I love the pairing of the short hem and high neck line, it allows the dress to fit todays current trends, which is nice in a vintage piece. I would add a subtle clutch and call it a night. Happy dancing-
