We are in the middle of event season with fundraisers, fashion night’s out, launch parties and for Houstonians Fashion Houston is around the corner! With a multitude of soirees the black dress is the safest route however what I love about this particular dress from Azuz Boutique is it makes the classic back dress a bit [ a lot] less safe. The higher cut neckline adds the much needed conservative element however you can always add a black or patterned layer underneath for more coverage. I had a blast putting this look together with stylist extrordinaire who needs no introduction: Kim Dunn of Luxe Label Styling. We kept the styling minimal for this look adding a simple yet unique crystal necklace, a chunky ring and gold bangle. I met Kim on the set of a photo shoot and I loved everything she did, adding fun edginess to tasteful, classic looks, our aesthetics clicked. Kim does everything style wise from shoots, event styling, personal shopping and working with Fashion Houston.
