1950s Mansion in Houston and Vintage Summer Dress

Recently I talked about my journey of discovering beauty in Houston. I’m so excited to share this look and location. It’s one of my favorite spots in Houston and have visited the grounds many times. The Rienzi is part of the Museum of Fine Arts in Houston.  It’s a 1950s mansion now converted into an art gallery featuring 17th- to 19th-century antiques & home decor. The grounds landscaping quite special. Walking around the garden is quite magical (when it’s not 90+ degrees outside) as it’s a beautiful little European inspired oasis in the center of a busy city. I only wish it had a small cafe with shaded garden seating and coffee or Aperol Spritz.

This dress pink and white polka dot dress is “summer garden strolling” perfection. The vintage Galliano frock found at The Pop-Up Co-Op in Upper Kirby (from vintage curating brand “1988” @shopnineteen88 on Instagram) is one of a kind but I found a very similar and attainable version which you can shop in the widget below.
