The price tag for baby items can add up quick! When looking for a pump I didn’t even know my insurance covered most pumps if I hadn’t come across Pumping Essentials Instagram account. They’re main goal is to take the stress of paperwork and dealing with insurance companies off of you.
Getting started with selecting your pump is super easy:
1. You can go online to pumpingessentials.com and click the purple “See Your Free Pump Options” button.
2. You’ll answer a few questions about your insurance, state you reside in, etc.
3. We’ll show the available pump options that you’re eligible for.
4. Once you select which one you’d like, you’ll review everything and place your order!
Depending upon mom’s insurance, the options may range a bit. With insurance companies that they are contracted with, there will always be at least one fully covered option and often Pumping Essentials may have many upgrade options if mom prefers a deluxe pump or package.

I took my time to research all the options and read reviews; consider the more portable options, etc. I eventually selected was the Spectra Gold. I think its functions will well for me and how I envision my life with baby and I like that its the newer model, I read lots of women love the previous model. Also to take into consideration is that I don’t plan on pumping a lot. I prefer a more European approach however that really won’t be up to me, I have to wait and see how everything ends up working out for us. Regardless I wanted to make sure I had a great quality pump, that was easy to use incase I end up using it more than expected.
